I have lived all over the world. As a child, I lived in Zaragoza, Spain, where my father taught the Spanish Navy to fly F-18s. In college, I studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After college, I joined the Peace Corps and worked in a remote, Indigenous community in Kankintu, Panama.
I came to Miami in 2007 to attend the University of Miami School of Law. At the University of Miami, I worked at the Children and Youth Law Clinic where I assisted children in foster care transition to independence. After graduating, I became a litigator at Legal Services of Greater Miami. I represented clients in Miami-Dade and Monroe County in divorce, paternity, temporary relative custody, bankruptcy, and eviction. I presided over three jury trials and handled multiple appeals.
I started my firm over two years ago. I take my role as an attorney very seriously and zealously advocate for my clients. Clients have my cellphone number and speak with me about their case, not secretaries or paralegals.
I also volunteer with CABA Pro Bono and have been a guardian ad litem in dependency proceedings.
